ALA Garífuna Women invites community members to come together for Garífuna Anthem Practice, a space to learn, practice, and celebrate our Garífuna anthem as we prepare for Garífuna Heritage Month in April.
This gathering is open to all community members. Whether you already know the anthem or are learning it for the first time, this is an opportunity to connect through song, strengthen cultural knowledge, and honor our shared heritage in a welcoming and supportive environment.
Singing our anthem together is a powerful way to pass down history, language, and pride across generations. Families, elders, youth, and allies are all encouraged to attend.
